Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning Commission serves as an advisory body to the City Council on matters related to planning and zoning. The Commission reviews:
    • Plats and land subdivisions
    • Rezoning requests
    • Variances
    • Conditional use permits
    • Other land use and development issues

Following their review, the Commission makes recommendations to the City Council for final decisions.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Byron City Hall. All meetings are open to the public, and community participation is encouraged.

The Commission is made up of five members, each appointed by the City Council to serve a five-year term.
