Byron Election Ran Smoothly

The Nov. 5 election results were canvassed at the Nov. 12 Byron City Council meeting.
Even though Byron has one of the largest voting precincts in the state, overall, the election day event ran smoothly. At the meeting, Deputy Clerk/Accounting Technician Robby Horsman thanked the volunteers from the city that served as election judges and who were instrumental in helping the day go smoothly.

Results of the event were as follows:
About 83 % of Byron’s registered voters cast their ballots in this election. There were 3,897 voters and 4,683 registered voters.
Mayor Daryl Glassmaker and Council members Steven Cook and Dan Mesenburg all ran unopposed, and all won reelection.
