End-of-Summer Party

By: Gretta Becay

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Deputy Christopher Streed, Mayor Daryl Glassmaker, Deputy Nate Jacobson, Byron’s School Resource Officer, and Stefanie Coutley, Director of Operations for Black Swan Living Property Management, LLC, are standing between the food trucks and the picnic tables and children’s games at the end-of-summer party held Aug. 19 at Stone Haven Townhomes near city hall. The group welcomed anyone who attended.

This past summer Byron residents were able to participate in a plethora of community events. At the top of the list, Good Neighbor Days, of course led them all. The three concerts at city hall were also very well attended and other community events included the Nite to Unite, and pop-up vendor markets at the park-n-ride lot and at Bear Paw Coffee. The Art Show along Fourth St. NW held during Good Neighbor Days was also a big success.

Next year promises to be even better.

A big thank you to all the volunteers that bring together these great events. Be sure to check out the community calendar for more upcoming things to do. https://www.byronmn.com/communitycalendar
