The Byron Fire Department’s annual open house is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Byron Fire Hall at 707 Frontage Road NW. During this educational and entertaining evening, children can tour the fire trucks, watch demonstrations about the equipment fire fighters use and wear, and participate in activities where they wield fire extinguishers and fire hoses – with a little help from the Byron fire fighters.
These events provide great ways for children to learn safety tips and skills.
