Community Swimming Pool

As determined at the 6/9/26 CityCouncil meeting, the community pool will be closed for the entire 2026 season. During the scheduled resurfacing project, previously undetected cracking and structural issues were identified, requiring a more comprehensive scope of work than initially planned. The decision to close the pool for the full season was made to ensure that the community’s investment properly addresses these concerns and provides a result capable of supporting at least 5–7 additional years of reliable use.  Additionally, the decision took lifeguard staffing constraints into consideration.

We understand this closure is disappointing and appreciate the community’s patience as we take the necessary steps to make lasting improvements. Updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
