Community Swimming Pool
As determined at the 6/9/26 City Council meeting, the community pool will be closed for the entire 2026 season. During the scheduled resurfacing project, previously undetected cracking and structural issues were identified, requiring a more comprehensive scope of work than initially planned. The decision to close the pool for the full season was made to ensure that the community’s investment properly addresses these concerns and provides a result capable of supporting at least 5–7 additional years of reliable use. Additionally, the decision took lifeguard staffing constraints into consideration.
We understand this closure is disappointing and appreciate the community’s patience as we take the necessary steps to make lasting improvements.
The pool is currently filled to allow the restorations made to cure.

𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲: To make access easy, the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 between the Byron Pool and the Kasson Pool. This 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭8𝘁𝗵 and follows the Rolling Hills Transit holiday schedule, which observes federal holidays.
